GPTA Announces 2015 Board

Current President of the Georgia Professional Tennis Association (GPTA) Carmen Garcia-Jersild announced that Dave Dvorak, Director of Tennis at Dunwoody Country Club, will take over as the President of the GPTA for the 2015 calendar year. Dvorak is a long-time member of the GPTA and has served on the Board of Directors in the past, including stints as president in 1993, 2004 and 2005. Along with Dvorak, the 2015 Board of Directors slate includes Carmen Garcia-Jersild, Bill Osterhold, Les Hudson, Sue Hutchinson-Carson, Scott Gates, Eric Taylor, Allan Jensen and Eddie Gomez. 

In an interview with Net News, Dvorak said, "I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the GPTA in helping the Georgia teaching pros stay current in all aspects of this wonderful sport. The 2015 Board will work very hard to uphold the long tradition of high quality member services."
